You can even make your home-baked cookies a bit on the small side so that a double-batch of dough will make up to 30 or 40 cookies, enough for everyone in your immediate friendship circle.

Wrap your cookies in colourful paper to complete the gift, or fill a small gift box with them. There are thousands of cookie recipes on the net which you can search for.
